This degree prepares the next generation of world leaders through a rigorous and stimulating business curriculum based on industry needs and global perspective.
The MBA core curriculum effectively integrates all functional areas of business, with the use of analytical methods, technology, oral and written communication, and teamwork. The MBA program requires 48 credits: 30 credits of core courses, 3 credits of Global coursework and 15 credits of elective courses. The MBA program operates on an 8-week module structure and can be pursued as a face to face, online, or mixed modality format.

Bachelor's Degree (any)/Business Administration, Accelerated MS
Overview
Highly qualified undergraduates may be admitted to the bachelor's/accelerated master's program (BAM) and obtain a BS/BA in any undergraduate degree and master's in business administration (MBA) in an accelerated timeframe after satisfactory completion of a minimum of 156 credits.

BAM MBA Pathway Admission Requirements
Applicants to all graduate programs at George Mason University must meet the admission standards and application requirements for graduate study as specified in Graduate Admissions Policies and Bachelor's/Accelerated Master's Degree policies. Criteria specific to this accelerated master's program are noted below.
Pathway Eligibility: Highly qualified undergraduate students may apply for the Bachelor’s degree (any)/ Accelerated MBA program after they have earned at least 60 credits.
Applicants are required to have:
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- A minimum of two years of full-time work experience per MBA eligibility guidelines
- Passed at least one quantitative courses1 from the Mason Core with a grade of B or better
The BAM pathway application deadline is a month prior to the add date for the semester before the candidate’s potential transition term.

Admission to the BAM Pathway is determined by the graduate admission team based on the GPC approved MBA Decision Rules, including the candidate’s cognitive aptitude and motivation. If the graduate admission team cannot determine approval for a candidate, the MBA GPAC will determine if the candidate should be admitted to the BAM MBA Pathway.
Accelerated Master's Admission Requirements
Students admitted to the BAM MBA Pathway program can be formally admitted to the MBA program if they have met the following criteria:
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 AND
• Minimum grade of B- in each advanced standing course AND
• Successfully met Mason’s requirements for undergraduate degree conferral (graduation) as verified on the Bachelor’s/Accelerated Master’s Transition form AND submitted the application for graduation
BAM MS in Business Administration Pathway Requirements
Students who are accepted into the MS MBA BAM pathway will be allowed to register for graduate level courses after successful completion of a minimum of 75 undergraduate credits.
