Policies
Eight credits of coursework must be unique to the minor, and students must earn a minimum grade of C in all credits applied to the minor. For policies governing all university minors, see AP.5.3.4 Minors.
Art and Visual Technology (AVT) majors must complete 9 credits unique to the minor. It is strongly recommended that non-AVT majors take AVT 215 Typography (Mason Core) for their Mason Core Arts requirement as well as AVT 110 Digital Design Studio (Mason Core) for their Mason Core Information Technology and Computing requirement. These courses are prerequisites for Web Design coursework.
