This interdisciplinary minor provides a framework for understanding the interdependence that defines our global landscape. As relationships between people, states, and environments evolve, there is a growing need to manage and govern human affairs on a global scale. Students examine political and economic patterns and the dynamics of globalization, gaining insights into how the flows of people, money, and ideas influence our lives. This minor allows students from diverse majors to connect their fields of study to global challenges by critically engaging with themes of cultural exchange, environmental sustainability, demographic change, political geography, and economic development.
